ANY GOOD STUDY TIPS FOR KS3 SATS AND IN GENERAL?
You ought to find out your guidance character initial (auditoury, kinaestethic, visual, etc) as well as find out what investigate methods have been customarily in effect with which type.

Like the previous post said, you really don’t have to worry about SATs. I remember I got so stressed about them and then they count for nothing! However, what I’m saying is son’t get stressed about them, not don’t bother about them. Often, what you get in your SATs influences which set you’ll be put into for GCSE. So, if you do badly, you’ll probably be put in a lower set and then may be put in for the foundation paper at GCSE, which limits what grade you can get.
Everyone learns differently, but what I’ve found to be most effective is writing down condensed versions of your notes and then carefully going through memorising them, perhaps using different colour highlighter pens, and then see if you can write them down. Alternatively, you could record yourself saying your notes and then play the tape over before you go to bed, as this apparently helps you to subconsciously learn it.
Make mind-maps, spider diagrams, drawings, anything visual really and then put them up around the house (if your parents don’t mind, of course), so you see them everyday.
Then get hold of some past papers and do them as though you were sitting the exam. Get the answers, or get a teacher to mark them, then go back over it and see which bits you are weakest on.
Phew! Hope that’s a bit to go on.
Wouldn’t bother studying at all. I know teachers put loads of pressure on you to revise really hard, but they actually test the teachers, not students. Whatever you end up with is a reflection of their teaching ability, not yours as a student. If you want to study, write down the main areas in each subject – so the areas of science, the books you looked at in English etc & make sure you know all the basics. It helps if you can get someone to test you on it. I really wouldn’t worry about them though. Good luck anyway!
