There are study abroad opportunities for high school students. However, they are expensive and I personally wouldn’t recommend it. Instead, I would plan to study abroad in college. If you plan ahead there are so many scholarships available to you. You will just need to google these about a year and half before the time you wish to study abroad comes. This will give you plenty of time to fill out all the applications and get ready. Plus, it will be easier to coordinate since most colleges have a study abroad office which will assist you. If you are persistent enough, it is possible you could get a full-ride. You will need all the help you can get with this since studying abroad is a huge experience and theres a ton of little things you don’t plan for initially. But don’t let the cost overwhelm you. I procrasinated until my senior year of college and it was almost too late for me to go. I didn’t realize just how much I would have regretted not entering the program until I signed up.
