HOW IF I READ THE HOLY BIBLE MYSELF, INSTEAD OF GOING TO THE BIBLE STUDY EVERY WEEK?
Reading a Holy Bible each day is intensely important. However, if we stick on Bible study, it’s tellurian being’s understand & sharing, that competence not fit a genuine or tangible definition from a Bible itself. So how? Is it excellent if we only review a Bible alone during home? Or should we stick on a Bible investigate each week regularly? Why? Thank we so most for your answers & explanations! May God magnify you! Reading the Bible is always important whether at home or in a group, but it’s good to meet with others to share information and to discuss it. Often I’ve been given insights from other more experienced Christians, or had verses explained to me. And of course meeting together also gives the opportunity to share, to pray with and for each other.
I don’t believe in the bible…. Its yucky……..
When you become a Christian, you are called into a relationship with God (1 Corinthians 1:9). But I John 1:3 makes it clear that we enter a fellowship that goes two ways: with God and with other Christians.
Acts 20:7 reveals the practice of the early church: “And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached to them.” For Christians in every location, regular gathering was a part of life.
A single verse should actually be sufficient answer for this question: Hebrews 10:25 warns its readers against “forsaking the assembly of yourselves together, as the manner of some is.”
Daily Bible reading by yourself is awesome, but there are lots of benefits to being plugged into a good Bible teaching church. Checkout http://www.calvarychapel.com for a good church near you.

The bases for all religions is so widely ignored with all the excuses in scripture. That is the Golden Rule, blazing simple to live by 98% of the time, it is the final 2% that is a bittitch. That is the only religion I need.

it just depends on the person and the study group. some people can read the bible 20 times and still miss the meaning. then you have some of these teachers out there that dont know their head from a hole in the ground puting their 2 cents in trying to make the bible say what they want it too. i would pray on it because only god knows whats best. a word of advice if you do it on your own dont go on to the next chapter untill you fully under stand the one you just read
You can certainly read it at home. Bible study gives you a chance to discuss your reading with others…if you find that only one interpretation is acceptable to the group and you completely disagree and it’s just not pleasant…well, then you can always quit. If it’s something you’re interested in, though, give it a try.

When we stand before God we will not have our ” group ” to fall back on.You really need to read and do the word for yourself.There are a lot of Christians who ” feel” the need to learn these things from 4 years of theology. But , for the most part, they will pay big bucks for someone in semitary to help them misunderstand the bible.The bible is so simple we need help to misunderstand it.So, read the word for yourself, and do not let any man’s charisma cause you to stray from the truth.
That is a good question. what i do is read bymyself and with groups. i am open to others beliefs on what is read but i have my own beliefs that i come u with for myself from readings. God will put the truth in your heart if you seek whole heartedly thats just what i believe.
I dont believe there is a wrong way to read the bible , not everyone has access to a church or bible study, or even a bible for that matter.
its important to read for yourself bible study in a group is good too you can always check it in the bible also i go to a group too but we read what the word says as well gods word is final
First read the Bible by yourself, a few times. Then try reading study Bibles and commentary Bibles. Then join a Bible Study group. This way you can learn and teach and share the word of God.

better to interpret every book yourself first those kinds of study group tend to have a dominent member or members who tend to push their own interpretation on others
If you do read the NT yourself then you would find that your views and opinions that are shaped are actually contrary to church consensus.
it’s important to make sure the interpretation is not from man but from God. that it is his word and not others made up stuff..
Solo Scriptura Baby. But share your perspectives with others.
Church isn’t a prerequisite for Heaven. Just not being a total schmuck.

It depends on what you “think” you need. Listen to your heart.
Well, let’s look at you statements logically
1) if we join Bible study, it’s human being’s interpretation & sharing, which might not suit the real or actual meaning from the Bible itself.
But, isn’t that true of your personal reading? If not – by which I mean, if your personal study is guided by the Holy Spirit – might not bible study also be so guided? Personal study is no more valid than group study UNLESS that group has an agenda – some underlying purpose or bias that *requires* a biased interpretation of Scripture.
Of course it depends on the group, but interpretations from several individuals can often be enlightening. Someone might have an interpretation that never occurred to you that seems very sound – thus, you learn. Others may never have gleaned your interpretation and may choose to adopt it – in which case, you help others to learn. These are the advantages of group study. IF your group study does not aid you or others in this manner, perhaps it IS better to study on your own. If you are neither learning nor helping others in the group study to learn, the group study would seem to be of no value to you.
Personally, I find that reading the bible alone has been extremely beneficial. I have read it enough times to have a good sense of “connections”. For example, I understand why someone in the crowd asked if Jesus was the son of David when he performed an exorcism (in the Old Testament, only David exorcises a possessed person). I understand why Jesus refused to condemn the adulteress (he was following the dictates of Mosaic Law). These things are very beneficial in evaluating the interpretations of others. Still, I learn from others – my knowledge of the bible is hardly encyclopedic. Probably I would have to actually memorize the bible word-for-word to be able to identify most of the connections it contains. That is not likely to happen anytime soon – but the advantages of my personal study definitely aid others in discussion, and the insight and knowledge of others most definitely aids me in my personal study.
