Make flashcards of vocab, formulas, etc.
Try to make your own practice problems that are harder than the ones you have been doing
If you had quizzes earlier in the chapter, look over them and redo those problems
Ask the teacher if they could have a help session and help you to study and give you practice problems
Also, start studying about a week before the test/exam so it is really in your brain.
Good luck!
Practice is the best way but look for ways to simplify the questions down to the basic roots, the math equations themselves are all the same and can never change, tests just have a lot of tricky narratives in the problem setup to confuse you. There’s only a handful of really different type of question, everything is just variations, like they say there are only 7 different plots used in every book and movie made.
The easiest way to study for a Geometry test is to do the hardest problems in the book, because chances are that the questions on the test will be much easier than in the book.
Look over everything, notes, the book, and make up your own problems.
Ask your teacher if you can have a notecard or something.
