I NEED SOME GOOD STUDY TIPS/IDEAS?
Because we ALWAYS ALWAYS dont consider about what we read. The usually things we do right right away is review it over a couple of times and/or write it down(trying to make use of opposite words) in my notebook, though we consider I’ll switch to regulating a mechanism since typing would be easier.
But those do not regularly work so we unequivocally need a little opposite ways to study.

I use Cornell notes. Divide your paper in half, making the right side larger. Write down the page on the left, and write down the main idea (summarized into one or two sentences) of each paragraph. At the bottom of your page, write a summary of EVERYTHING you just read. It works well for me. Good luck =]]
P.S. The site under my sources should help explain it more in depth.
I was similar when your age, but got more connected with reading after reading some things I was interested in , rather than what was in the school texts. This got me more interested and exercised my ability to follow a story.
Now I would also add that I am a visual person and if the story doesn’t bring a picture to my mind it is instantly lost.
Some subjects are boring in school and I have found I was very interested in them later in life. Subjects that are worded to just load you up with ‘facts’ and dates rather than the essence,. leave me empty.
You might be similar , an artistic temperament.
Read things you find interesting to practise comprehension. This will help you to remember things that are not so well written or not interesting to you.
Typing it out is probably going to interfere with understanding what is said . With this in mind , I would suggest you read it over in a quiet environment with the accent on understanding . Then there is no interference with the slow struggle of Typing , then you can do your writing after.
When I find something I need to remember this is what I do. For example, you have to study a chapter in History to prepare for a test, take the vocab words and hand write all the words and their definitions, as well , any important dates or battles. If you are given a study guide, re write the study guide questions and answers then re read them. If its something like math. Take the equations you have to memorize and do them over and over and over, if your given a quiz or homework, do the homework , but then change some of the variables and try to figure the problem by yourself and ask your teacher the next day if you did it correctly. English…wow thats hard…the only way to remember things you learn in english, or language arts is honestly to read it, and then try to explain it to someone else, if you can do that, then you have a good comprehension of the story.
I know this was kind of a generic answer but I hope it helped!
i would totally take notes on things that seem important. I also have trouble studying and remembering things. I like to use the computer for notes because the hand writing is always good and you don’t have any misprints or misspelled words. hope i helped!
Highlighting always helps me. Also dont write the whole thing, just key points. I record the important info and then listen to it before, or during class. Whatever works for you. Drawing pictures helps some poeple.
haha umm me and my girlfriend have a very affective study method its sumtin that we say on billy madison wen the are in the tent it works for me and her but idk how old you are soooo and im not sayin that its a good thing
try writing things out on index cards, divide up by topic and use different colored highlighters to identify each category. and just rereading the index cards usually works for me after rereading my notes a couple times. Good luck:)
what i do is to reread all my notes and then write flashcards about the important info. of course you have to be in a place with no distractions.
make a song and nursery rhyme. then right it down. yeah, its lame but it really does help me remember.
maybe when you read that your taking it all in and your not distracted or zoning out
try repeating what you read and try reading at night. that way your brain goes over it when u sleep.
carbs and folate
it’s been known for a while that both of these are crucial to memory but recently there’s been studies done to prove it.
thoughs who ate carbs were significantly better at remembering things than those who didn’t.
folate is the same but works on short-term memory.
trust me, add some rice, pasta, potatos, etc to your diet and then see how much better you do.
as for study tips, make sure you understand the material and you’re not just memorizing it. understand a section, then move on.
lastly, get sleep. it’s when your brain analyzes things you’ve learned and done, which will make you understand more.
1 hour of studying + 8 hours of sleep will do more than 9 hours of studying and 0 hours of sleep.
Stay in quit areas. avoid too much tv
