WHAT DEGREES/SCHOOLING DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE TO BE A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHER?
What degrees/schooling do we have to have to be the unfamiliar denunciation teacher? What for K-12 school, for the college, as well as for the university?

to teach K-6 you have to have a degree in Interdisciplinary studies, elementary education or bilingual education.
to teach 8-12 you have to have a degree in the foreign language you want to teach and a teacher’s certificate.
to teach lower level foreign language at the university level (foreign language 1-4) you have to have a Master’s degree in that foreign language
to teach upper level fpreign language at the university level (literature, culture, civilization, theory) you have to have a PhD. in that foreign language or linguistics of that foreign language.
The requirements for each state are different. In most cases a teacher of foreign languages should have a Bachelors degree and probably a masters in Foreign Languages. For college and university there should be a PhD.
I believe its just 4 years at a university. Major in Education with a minor in foreign language.
