WHAT IS AN AVERAGE SHOT PUT THROW FOR A FRESHMAN IN HIGH SCHOOL?
I only got shot put as well as we would similar to to know what is an normal chuck for the youth in tall school. we threw the small currently as well as with the 10lb round i can gat anywhere from 36-42 feet. we can chuck about 32 with the tall propagandize round which weighs twelve lbs. THANKS!

I got you man this is my specialty lol. Unless you are some god-like prodigy, anywhere from 30-37ish feet is normal for a freshman guy. I threw the shot 35 feet my freshman year, then 43 my sophomore year, 49 my junior, hit a big slump my senior year and only ended up throwing a 51, but as a freshman in college, I’ve thrown the 16lb shot 47 feet, so it is all about how you progress and learn as you go throughout your high school career. A good coach will also be fantastic. Keep throwin!
32 feet will not normally win any high school meets. You should be able to throw the 12 pound shot more than 32 feet if you can throw a 10 pound shot 42 feet.
Good high school boys can go over 50 feet, and the record is over 80 feet, but no one is going to do that.
id say around 40ft. is around average
