Go for Mandarin. China is booming and should be a major advantage in international business.
As another poster said, it really depends on your own interests re: business. It can also depend on what company you end up working for. But generally speaking, if it’s a US-based company operating internationally, I’d go for Mandarin, Spanish or French. Spanish due to the US base, and if it operates in Latin America, etc. French as the international business language (esp. useful if you go into diplomacy or some gov’t roles) and Mandarin due to China’s growing importance to US markets, and the ties US companies have to Chinese vendors and Chinese operations.
Well I suppose it might depend on if you wanted to specialize in any paticular field. As far as technology with countries that are friendly with the USA saying you live there. I would go with Japanese. They are all about new tech toys. Chinese may be good too, im sure you can figure out why fairly easily. As a third alternative I would try spanish. Their are many countries that use spanish as a primary language. You want to be versatile and be able to do a lot. Not have to deal with a small area exclusively.
it depends on where you want to work:
obviously it is in the first place english – everything you get to read is english
if you want to work in Europe (EU) than it is best to know French (and German) as well.
French. This is very important language to learn for international law careers. If possible try adding Spanish as well. Good luck!
English.
