I think that you&#039;ll be more productive with Java than with C or even C++.   &quot;Being close to the metal&quot;, is becoming less and less important as computers are so fast and cheap theses days.</description>

		<description>C will get you closer to the metal. In fact, at one university I&#039;m aware of, the 4th year is writing a P machine using C to virtualize XP. Based upon input from your question, I would use java if all you have to do is a decision tree.</description>
