WHY DO I FEEL LIKE EVERYONE AT MY HIGH SCHOOL IS SUPER SHALLOW?
I consider of myself as a flattering perceptive, smart as good as good well-bred person. It seems as yet everybody in my tall propagandize is meddlesome in as good as able of land a review to one side in a following topics: sports, television, or themselves.
Does this ever get better? If so, when?

High School students are basically shallow. That is said not to be mean, but to reflect the truth. Their world revolves around them. When does it get better? Sorry to say it does not get better for some. For others, they get involved in charities, service, and helping others and that is all they talk about! Give the rest a chance, they may find a world outside of themselves and learn that there is more to life than sports, television or themselves. Warning: thinking them shallow is a form of arrogance which is just as bad.
I’m a freshman in college and I’m still having the same problem. It’s hard to just run into interesting people. A lot of it is that we’re all still young and as you get older people probably find better things to talk about. But at the same time, a lot of people are just…boring and shallow. Try getting involved in some kind of activity/extracurricular where you can find people with similar interests.
Man, I WISH it gets better sometime during school. I’m in grade ten at a school based around Soccer Excellence. Almost everyone likes soccer, and if you don’t, you’re automatically shoved aside and treated like.. well, like crap.
I can’t tell you if or when it stops, but I wanted to say that I agree with you. =)
They also say “Like” every other word, right. My stepdaughter did that for three years and then we pulled her out of high school, homeschooled her for one semester and put her in college and now she is human again! YAY!
Most high school kids are incredibly shallow, and trust me it doesn’t get better.
Could it be that you are delusional? You have to seek people who share your interests.
no one talks about sex wow. My school is all that plus sex and that could keep them going for 3 months.
